Under a slightly new name, “The Emergency Preparedness Reference Encyclopedia,” the second edition will be going to press in early August, 2024. It contains a whopping 1,100 entries (twice as many as the first edition), and the formatting has been adjusted accordingly (much less wasted whitespace, for example.)
If you would like to get in on the last-minute proofreading, send an email to proof2e@jackbabbage.com and I’ll send you a free link to download the PDF. In the email, please include your full name, any nickname you go by, your city or county and state, and mention which particular subject(s) you’ll be particularly keen to proofread (medical, firearms, comms, sanitation, family and pets, security, food and water, etc.), and/or if you’ll be more focused on the overall impression (intro, usage guide, readability and layout of the encyclopedia entries, the appendixes, etc.). Thanks!
