BBEEP! BBEEP! Join the Conversation. (But, oops! we hit a snag.)
The Emergency Preparedness Reference Encyclopedia is just the beginning. Not only is the 3rd edition already in development, but there are two whole additional encyclopedias underway to boot (one all about food preparedness, and one on grassroots politics). And, all of these books are being written in public — at least, that’s the plan.
We’re calling it BBEEP! (The Babbage Books Early Experience Program.) We were hoping to use locals.com as the platform for hosting the discussion, but we hit some snags with that.
So, bear with us as we figure things out. If you want to be notified when we finally land on a platform that will work, send an email to info (at) jackbabbage.com. Otherwise, just stay tuned for a further update here.
The plan is that periodic in-development releases will be posted as PDF files that are laid out according to how the print edition will look. When the official release of each book/edition occurs, you will also be able to download a DRM-free ebook file (either .epub or .kpf/.mobi, your choice).
So, if you want a say in how the books evolve, or just want to enjoy seeing sneak-peeks, then come on over and join the growing community.
